My passion is helping others and thankfully over my past 9 years of experience in mental health work and schooling I have been able to make my passion a career. I believe every person has strengths to be tapped into and the ability to make changes in their lives, and I enjoy being a witness and aid to that change. I graduated with two master's in both school and mental health counseling, and currently hold a LPCC license in KY, and look forward to helping you overcome obstacles in your own life through my education and experience.

I am a certified social worker, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in 2017 and I received my master's in social work with a clinical concentration from Campbellsville University, in August of 2021. Growing up in a rural impoverished area as a child and being a survivor of trauma and substance abuse left me with a deep desire to help other hurting individuals. I believe a person’s own lived experiences, coupled with knowledge and skills gained through education, can help create an atmosphere that is conducive to helping clients work through their own struggles. I have experience working with a diverse population that includes children and adults with a variety of presenting problems. I spent my internship working with women who suffered domestic violence, adults experiencing difficulty with substance abuse and children who had suffered neglect and trauma. My preferred treatment modality is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). However, I believe when one embarks on this journey, they become a lifelong learner, and I’m continuously striving to expand my knowledge in order to better serve others.
